‘Kijiji Changu” My village Initiative

Uwezo also implements ‘My village Project’ under PAL Network, known as ‘Kijiji Changu’ in Kiswahili language.

My village aims on ensuring ALL the children in the village be able to read and numerate. Just like Uwezo na Jamii Initiative this project use evidence/learning assessment findings to stimulate communities to participate fully to improve children learning outcomes. In the year 2022 & 2023 my village project is implemented in 100 villages of Tanzania. The project also implemented in Kenya and Nepal.
